Motlammelle Kapa is an Associate Professor of Political Sciences at the National University of Lesotho (NUL). He holds a Ph.D in Politics from Rhodes University, an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto and a B.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from the NUL. He has held teaching responsibilities at the National University of Lesotho, Rhodes University as well as the Lesotho Institute of Extra Mural Studies (IEMS). His publications include numerous articles in journals, book chapters, published conference and seminar proceedings and research reports.
He has held administrative responsibilities at the National University of Lesotho as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences (currently) and the Head of the Department of Political and Administrative Studies. He is passionate about community service. In furtherance of this he has assisted numerous civil society organisations in Lesotho, including the Transformation Resource Centre, Media Institute of Southern Africa and the Lesotho Council of Non-governmental Organisations.
